Thorns Barbarian Build

With this easy-to-use Build, you can mostly sit back and let the enemies destroy themselves as they try to attack you, while you provoke and pull them towards you.

Skills

Unlike most Builds, this one doesn’t revolve around a specific Skill — the damage will primarily come from your Thorns stat. These are the Core Skill to keep enemies attacking you and keep you up:

  • Frenzy – acts as your secondary source of damage.
  • Challenging Shout – forces enemies to attack you, gives a great boost in survivability, and increases your Thorns damage.
  • War Cry – will give you a damage boost, as well as give an easy way to gain Berserking.
  • Steel Grasp – this will group enemies together, as well as make them Vulnerable.
  • Kick – a great way to keep Bosses Vulnerable for a long time.
  • Wrath of the Berserker – a powerful buff that enhances many aspects of your Barbarian.

Passives

The Key Passive for this Build is Unconstrained, as it will make Berserking last longer, as well as enhance it.

Additional Passives:

  • Imposing Presence, Guttural Yell, Raid Leader, Aggressive Resistance, and Thick Skin will increase your survivability.
  • Outburst, Tough as Nails, Pit Fighter, Counteroffensive, and Wallop will boost your damage.
  • Booming Voice and Swiftness will help your utility.

Weapon Technique

For this Build, you will want to have 2-Handed Axe Expertise equipped. This will help boost your damage to Vulnerable enemies. You will want to set your Skills to use your Dual Wield weapons, while having a 1-Handed Sword and 1-Handed Mace equipped.
