Once you reach level 50 and have chosen a Build for your Barbarian, you will want to start picking out the best weapons to complement it. The weapons or Legendary Aspects are designed to enhance either a specific Skill, a group of Skills, or your overall damage. Some of these will be best for a specific Build, but many will be good for most, if not all Barbarians.
Best Barbarian Weapons
Ramaladni’s Magnum Opus
(1-Handed Sword)
Allows Skills that use this weapon to deal more damage the more Fury you have, at the cost of constantly losing Fury.
Best Build: Rend Build and Double Swing Build
Enhances the damage of both Builds’ main source of damage.
Overkill
(2-Handed Mace)
Gives Death Blow a shockwave effect.
Best Build: Walking Arsenal Build
Allows one of the Build’s main Skills to hit more enemies.
Hellhammer
(2-Handed Mace)
Causes Upheaval to ignite the ground, Burning enemies that are in it
Best Build: Upheaval Build
Gives your primary Skill an extra form of damage.
Best Barbarian Legendary Aspects
Aspect of Ancestral Charge
(Offensive Aspect)
Summons ancients who will charge alongside you when using Charge.
Best Build: Rend Build
This will allow you to spread your Bleed much faster.
Aspect of Ancestral Force
(Offensive Aspect)
Causes Hammer of the Ancients to create a quake while also boosting its damage.
Best Build: Hammer of the Ancients Build
Enhances the main source of damage for Hammer of the Ancients build, and allows it to hit more enemies.
Accelerating Aspect
(Offensive Aspect)
Increases your Attack Speed when you get a Critical Hit with Core Skills.
Best Build: Walking Arsenal Build and Double Swing Build
The extra Attack Speed helps with the constant weapon swapping of this Build.
Earthstriker’s Aspect
(Offensive Aspect)
Makes your next Skill Overpower after swapping weapons 8 times, with increased Overpower damage.
Best Build: Hammer of the Ancients Build and Upheaval Build
Will help give consistent Overpower attacks.
Edgemaster’s Aspect
(Offensive Aspect)
Increases Skill damage the more of your primary resource you have.
Best Build: Any
Will give a boost to your overall damage.
Aspect of Limitless Rage
(Offensive Aspect)
Allows you to store excess Fury to increase the damage of your next Core Skill.
Best Build: Any
Many Builds will revolve around a Core Skill, making this a huge damage boost.
