A great self-sustaining Build that allows for constant crits and an endless supply of Essence, all while keeping a safe distance from your enemies.
Skills
This Build mainly revolves around the use of Bone Spear. This Skill can make almost entire rooms’ worth of enemies Vulnerable, and will constantly deal Critical Strikes to deal massive damage.
Additional Core Skills:
- Corpse Explosion – provides some extra AoE damage, as well as helping boost your overall damage.
- Decrepify – this will keep enemies Stunned, as well as keep your Cooldowns low.
- Blood Mist – can be used when you need to get away from enemies or for extra survivability.
- Corpse Tendrils – a great way to group up enemies, as it will pull them in, Slow, and Stun them.
- Bone Storm – grants more Critical Strike Chance, while also boosting your survivability.
Passives
The Key Passive for this Build is Ossified Essence, as it will greatly boost the damage of Bone Spear.
Additional Passives:
- Stand Alone – will increase your survivability.
- Imperfectly Balanced, Fueled by Death, Amplify Damage, Death’s Reach, Serration, Compound Fracture, Evulsion, and Memento Mori will boost your damage.
- Unliving Energy, Hewed Flesh, Grim Harvest, and Reaper’s Pursuit will help your utility.
Book of the Dead
You can sacrifice all of your minions for this Build to gain their bonuses. You will want to sacrifice the Cold Skeletal Mage, Iron Golem, and either the Skirmisher or Defender Skeletal Warrior.

Equipment
Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul will make Corpse Explosion and Corpse Tendrils cast automatically, and Lidless Wall will allow you to have multiple Bone Storms up throughout the screen.
On top of these pieces, you will want these Legendary Aspects:
- Serration – allows the Ossified Essence Key Passive to also increase Critical Strike Damage.
- Splintering – causes Bone Spear to make enemies Vulnerable.
- Grasping Veins and Exploiter’s increase your damage.
- Exposed Flesh – will help keep your Essence high.
- Wind Striker – increases your Movement Speed.
- Disobedience and Shielding Storm will help your survivability.
You will want to use Emerald Gems on your weapon, Ruby Gems on your armor, and Diamond Gems on your jewelry.
