A Build focusing on massive AoE damage — with it you can clear out entire rooms at once while consistently hitting Critical Strikes and Overpowers.
Skills
This Build mainly revolves around the use of Upheaval. With the various boosts it gets, it will do massive AoE damage and can easily clear out entire groups of enemies.
Additional Core Skills:
- Lunging Strike – will help build some Fury, and give a little mobility.
- Charge – helps with mobility, and will help quickly build up the damage of Upheaval.
- Rallying Cry – will give you a source of Fury regen, and reduce the Cooldown of your other Skills.
- Challenging Shout – gives a boost to survivability, and will increase Fury regen.
- Wrath of the Berserker – a powerful buff that enhances many aspects of your Barbarian.
Passives
The Key Passive for this build is Unbridled Rage, as it will boost the damage of Upheaval.
Additional Passives:
- Imposing Presence, Aggressive Resistance, Thick Skin, and Invigorating Fury will increase your survivability.
- Outburst, Tough as Nails, Pit Fighter, Counteroffensive, Heavy Handed, Brute Force, and Wallop will boost your damage.
- Swiftness, Battle Fervor, and Tempered Fury will help your utility.
Weapon Technique
For this Build, you will want to have 2-Handed Axe Expertise equipped. This will give a huge damage boost to any enemies that are Vulnerable. Set Upheaval to use your 2-Handed Mace, Charge to use your 2-Handed Slashing weapon, and Lunging Strike to use your Dual Wield weapons.

Equipment
The Hellhammer is an essential piece, as it gives Upheaval an extra effect to burn the ground. Banished Lord’s Talisman and the Ring of Red Furor will greatly boost the damage of Upheaval, while Tibault’s Will and Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty will increase your overall damage.
On top of these pieces, you will want these Legendary Aspects:
- Earthstriker, Edgemaster, and Limitless Rage will further boost the damage of Upheaval.
- Ancestral Charge and Bear Clan Berserker enhance your Charge and allow you to use it more.
- Juggernaut – will boost your survivability.
- Ghostwalker – will increase your mobility.
You will want to use Ruby Gems on your weapons, Ruby Gems on your armor, and a mix of Ruby Gems and Skulls on your jewelry.
