A Build focusing on massive AoE damage — with it you can clear out entire rooms at once while consistently hitting Critical Strikes and Overpowers.
Skills
This Build mainly revolves around the use of Upheaval. With the various boosts it gets, it will do massive AoE damage and can easily clear out entire groups of enemies.
Additional Core Skills:
- Bash – will help build some Fury, while giving some Fortify.
- Charge – helps with mobility, and will help quickly build up the damage of Upheaval.
- War Cry – will give you a damage boost, as well as give an easy way to gain Berserking.
- Leap – further helps with mobility, and helps give some Fury.
- Wrath of the Berserker – a powerful buff that enhances many aspects of your Barbarian.
Passives
The Key Passive for this build is Unconstrained, as it will help boost your damage while keeping Berserking more active.
Additional Passives:
- Imposing Presence, Martial Vigor, Aggressive Resistance, and Thick Skin will increase your survivability.
- Pit Fighter and Counteroffensive will boost your damage.
- Endless Fury, Swiftness, Prolific Fury, Tempered Fury, and Furious Impulse will help your utility.
Weapon Technique
For this Build, you will want to have 2-Handed Axe Expertise equipped. This will give a huge damage boost to any enemies that are Vulnerable. Set all Skills to use your Two Handed Mace.

Equipment
The Hellhammer is an essential piece, as it gives Upheaval an extra effect to burn the ground. The Grandfather will give you an increase in damage, while Yen’s Blessing will give you free Skill casts. Harlequin Crest will increase your damage reduction, as well as improving all of your Skills.
On top of these pieces, you will want these Legendary Aspects:
- Edgemaster, Expectant and Limitless Rage will further boost the damage of Upheaval.
- Relentless Berserker – will help keep Berserking up.
- Moonrise and Accursed Touch will boost your overall damage.
- Might – helps increase damage reduction.
- Adaptability – allows you to gain more Fury
You will want to use Ruby Gems on your weapons, Ruby Gems on your armor, and a mix of gems for different Resistances on your jewelry.
