This Build specializes in ranged combat, and is capable of clearing out large groups of enemies quickly when positioned correctly.
Skills
This Build mainly revolves around the use of Penetrating Shot. This Skill will damage all enemies in a line, and will split each time it hits someone with the Trickshot Aspect, massively increasing it’s AoE potential.
Additional Core Skills:
- Heartseeker – will give you Energy and more Critical Strike Chance and Damage.
- Dash – your main source of mobility.
- Rapid Fire – your alternate main Skill for when you need to focus more on single target damage.
- Concealment – this loaded Skill increases Movement Speed and Energy, as well as making you Unstoppable and enemies Vulnerable.
- Shadow Imbuement – use to get some extra AoE damage and Energy.
Passives
The Key Passive for this Build is Precision, as it will massively boost the damage of Penetrating Shot.
Additional Passives:
- Shadow Crash – will help your survivability.
- Weapon Mastery, Exploit, Malice, Frigid Finesse, and Impetus will boost your damage.
- Stutter Step, Consuming Shadows, Innervation, Alchemist’s Fortune, Adrenaline Rush, and Haste will help your utility.
Specialization
For this Build, you will want to use the Combo Points Specialization, so that you can boost the damage of Penetrating Shot.

Equipment
Condemnation will make Penetrating Shot deal more damage, and give Heartseeker a chance to instantly give 3 Combo Points. Skyhunter will enhance Precision, and Tibault’s Will will give you more damage and another source of Energy.
On top of these pieces, you will want these Legendary Aspects:
- Trickshot – massively enhances Penetrating Shot, by making arrows split from it every time it hits an enemy.
- Umbrous – grants a chance to get free Dark Shroud casts, giving you a ‘7th’ Skill.
- Resistant Assailant – gives you a boost in survivability after using Concealment, as well as allowing the Skill to be used more.
- Hectic – helps keep your Cooldowns low.
- Rapid, Icy Alchemist, Edgemaster and Expectant will boost your damage.
