This is a Build used specifically for leveling your Rogue. It centers around zipping through areas and taking out any enemy in your path while leveling and getting gear for your main Build.
Leveling Builds are a great way to expedite your character to finish the campaign and reach level 50. From there, you can work on setting your Barbarian up with optimal armor and weapons for your preferred Build to prepare for the more challenging levels.
Skills
- Puncture – gives you Energy and will make enemies Vulnerable.
- Twisted Blades – this is your main source of damage.
- Dash – your main source of mobility, which will let you position yourself properly for Twisted Blades.
- Shadow Step – another useful mobility Skill that will let you quickly move yourself towards an enemy.
- Shadow Imbuement – will greatly improve your AoE damage.
- Poison Imbuement – use against single targets to put a strong DoT on them.
Passives
Once you unlock your Key Passive, you’ll want to get Close Quarters Combat, as you will be able to get a huge Attack Speed bonus from it.
Passives to pick up while leveling:
- Sturdy, Siphoning Strikes, Trick Attacks, Rapid Gambits, and Shadow Crash will increase your survivability.
- Weapon Mastery, Exploit, Malice, and Precision Imbuement will boost your damage.
- Haste – will help with mobility.
- Consuming Shadows, Innervation, and Adrenaline Rush will help with Energy regen.
Specialization
Use the Combo Points Specialization, as it will greatly increase the damage of Twisting Blades.
What’s Next
Once you reach level 50, you can start working towards an endgame Build: these Builds focus on being able to survive and clear endgame content. With this particular Build you could swap out a few Skills to readjust it to become the Twisted Blades endgame Build, though there should be nothing stopping you from respec-ing your character entirely to start working towards a completely different Build you like.
