Once you reach level 50 and have chosen a Build for your Spiritborn, you will want to start picking out the best armor to complement it. The Armor and Legendary Aspects are designed to enhance either a group of Skills, your mobility, or give some kind of utility. Some of these will be best for a specific Build, but many will be good for most, if not all Spiritborn.
Best Spiritborn Armor
Jacinth Shell
(Chest)
Gives you health any time you spend Vigor. It also reduces your Cooldowns at the cost of your own health.
Best Build: Touch of Death Build
Gives you an extra source of healing while keeping your Cooldowns low.
Shroud of False Death
(Chest)
Grants you Stealth and Movement Speed when not dealing damage.
Best Build: Crushing Hand Build and Quill Volley Build
Gives a boost in mobility while you’re not fighting.
Harlequin Crest
(Helm)
Grants damage reduction, while also increasing the Rank of all of your Skills.
Best Build: Any
Gives more survivability while enhancing all of your Skills.
Yen’s Blessing
(Boots)
Allows your Skills to occasionally cast another Skill that’s on Cooldown.
Best Build: Any
Gives you free Skill casts.
Ring of the Midnight Sun
(Ring)
Gives you some Vigor back when you get a Critical Strike, and gives you Counterattack’s passive effect.
Best Build: Any
Helps keep your Vigor high will also giving some free damage.
Best Spiritborn Legendary Aspect
Insatiable Aspect
(Offensive Aspect)
Makes Touch of Death’s swarms last longer, and causes an explosion when a swarm is replaced early.
Best Build: Touch of Death Build
This becomes the main source of damage for this Build.
Aspect of the Moonrise
(Offensive Aspect)
Increases your Attack Speed, while giving bursts of Basic Skill damage and Movement Speed.
Best Build: Crushing Hand Build and Quill Volley Build
Gives a boost to your damage and mobility.
Aspect of Redirected Force
(Offensive Aspect)
Gain Critical Strike Damage based on your Block Chance. This increase doubles when you Block.
Best Build: Crushing Hand Build and Quill Volley Build
Gives some extra survivability.
Aspect of Unyielding Hits
(Offensive Aspect)
Causes all of your Gorilla Skills to increase your Weapon Damage.
Best Build: Any
Gives a constant damage increase.
Aspect of Interdiction
(Defensive Aspect)
Increases your Block Chance based on your Resolve stacks.
Best Build: Any
Gives some extra survivability.
