This fast-paced build keeps things simple but effective, having a focus on slashing enemies and using all of your Shout Skills.
Skills
This build mainly focuses around using Frenzy. With all of the boosts it gets from your gear, this Skill will become your biggest source of damage. Your three Shout Skills (War Cry, Threatening Shout, and Battle Rage) become very useful as well, as all of their effects are doubled, giving you access to various powerful buffs.
Besides these Skills, other core Skills are:
- Wrath of the Berserker – a powerful buff that will enhance all aspects of the Barbarian.
- Furious Charge – will give you more mobility.
Passives
- Rampage – boosts the Barbarian’s Strength, giving them both an offensive and defensive increase.
- Berserker Rage – gives extra damage when near full Fury. As Frenzy is a Fury generator, this should be up at almost all times.
- Boon of Bul-Kathos – used to keep Wrath of the Berserker up at all times.
- Brawler and Ruthless are good options to further boost your damage.
- Nerves of Steel – can be used to have a safety net from dying.
Equipment
The primary armor will be the Horde of the Ninety Savages set. You will need five pieces of it for the full effect (if you Cube the Royal Ring of Grandeur). Oathkeeper, Bastion’s Revered, Depth Diggers and The Undisputed Champion will all exponentially boost Frenzy. The Aughild’s Authority set, Convention of Elements, and Squirt’s Necklace will further boost overall damage. In-Geom will grant you some Cooldown Reduction, and Band of Might will give you extra survivability.
Simplicity’s Strength, Bane of the Trapped, and Bane of the Stricken are generally the best Legendary Gems, all boosting your damage further.
