Crusader Leveling Build

This is a Build specifically used for leveling your Crusader. It helps you quickly kill enemies all around you with hammers, while leveling and getting gear for your main Build.

Leveling builds are a great way to expedite your character to level 70. From there, you can work on setting your Crusader up with optimal armor and weapons for your preferred Build to prepare for the more challenging levels.

Note that you will not be able to use all of these Skills and Passives immediately, so experiment and work with other Skills in the meantime. Leveling Builds are very flexible, so don’t shy away from trying out different abilities to help you decide on a final Build. (Tip: Remember to enable “Elective Mode” in Settings -> Gameplay to be able to mix-and-match the skills much more easily across the categories.)

Skills

Numbers in brackets = [level required to unlock].

• Provoke [9] (Too Scared to Run Rune [32]) – this will keep your Wrath high, as well as lower the Attack Speed of the enemies.
• Blessed Hammer [12] (Limitless Rune [35]) – your primary source of damage for this build.
• Steed Charge [13] (Endurance Rune [42]) – gives you a lot of mobility.
• Laws of Valor [14] (Unstoppable Force Rune [45]) – allows you to use Blessed Hammer more often.
• Condemn [21] (Vacuum Rune [26]) – allows you to pull enemies close to you, and gives you an extra attack.
• Akarat’s Champion [25] (Prophet Rune [49]) – a staple in Crusader builds; it gives you a boost in both offense and defense.

Passives

Numbers in brackets = [level required to unlock].

• Heavenly Strength [10] – allows you to equip both a 2-Handed Weapon and a Shield.
• Long Arm of the Law [45] – lets Laws of Valor’s active effect last longer.
• Finery [60] – allows you to easily boost Strength by just equipping gems.
• Blunt [65] – increases the damage of Blessed Hammer.
