Once you reach level 70 and have picked a Build for your Crusader, you will want to start assembling an armor set and weapons that complement it. Keep in mind that class armor sets are designed to enhance one or more of your character’s Skills, so we left some recommendations in the Best Armor Sets section to assist you in making your choice.

Best Crusader Armor Sets
Set Items: Helm of Akkhan, Cuisses of Akkhan, Breastplate of Akkhan, Talisman of Akkhan, Sabatons of Akkhan, and Pauldrons of Akkhan.
- Is used for the Akkhan Condemn build.
- The full set greatly enhances Akarat’s Champion, boosting your offense and defense, while also lowering its cooldown.
- It also enhances Judgment and Phalanx, allowing them to work together.
Set Items: Crown of Valor, Gauntlets of Valor, Spaulders of Valor, Chausses of Valor, Brigandine of Valor, and Greaves of Valor.
- Is used for the Aegis of Valor Heaven’s Wrath build.
- The full set massively increases the damage of both Fists of the Heavens and Heaven’s Fury.
- It also allows Fists of the Heavens to grant Wrath and damage reduction.
Set Items: Crown of the Invoker, Burden of the Invoker, Renewal of the Invoker, Zeal of the Invoker, Shackles of the Invoker, and Pride of the Invoker.
- Is used for the Invoker Thorns and Akkhan Invoker Bombardment builds.
- The full set greatly increases the damage of Punish, Slash, and Thorns, as well as making Thorns damage AoE.
- It also allows Bombardment to grant damage reduction.
Set Items: Captain Crimson’s Silk Girdle, Captain Crimson’s Thrust, and Captain Crimson’s Waders.
- Not an exclusive set for Crusaders, but helpful in many of their builds.
- The full set gives cooldown reduction, resource cost reduction, damage reduction, and increases damage dealt.

- 6 set: Increase the damage of Blessed Hammer by 15,000% and Falling Sword by 1000%.

- 2 set: Your Thorns damage now hits all enemies in a 15 yard radius around you. Each time you hit an enemy with Punish, Slash, or block an attack your Thorns is increased by 90% for 2 seconds. This effect stacks up to 10 times.
- 4 set: You take 50% less damage for 20 seconds after damaging an enemy with Bombardment.
- 6 set: The attack speed of Punish and Slash are increased by 100% and deal 67,500% of your Thorns damage.

- 6 set: Every use of Shield Bash or Sweep Attack that hits an enemy grants 75% increased Attack Speed and 15% damage reduction for 8 seconds. This effect stacks up to 5 times.
