A Build that allows you to have a small army that’s great at dealing AoE damage.
Skills
This Build revolves around taking advantage of the Embodiment of the Marauder, allowing you to summon a small army to quickly take down waves of enemies. This will involve summoning every Companion (thanks to the armor set), and summoning Sentries with the Polar Station Rune to keep enemies away from you.
Aside from these two Skills, the other core Skills of this build are:
- Multishot – your primary source of damage. Your Sentries will exponentially increase its damage, as well as cast it with you.
- Evasive Fire – this will be your Hatred generator.
- Vault – this will give you some mobility.
- Vengeance – this will give you an extra burst of damage.
Passives
- Custom Engineering – allows you to have an extra Sentry active, and lets them last twice as long.
- Ballistics – increases the damage of rockets launched.
- Cull of the Weak – will increase your damage to all enemies that are Slowed or Chilled.
- Ambush – gives you a damage boost against enemies at high health.
- Numbing Traps, Awareness, and Perfectionist are other good defensive options.
- Blood Vengeance – can be used to increase your maximum Hatred and gives another source of replenishing it.
Equipment
The primary armor for this build will be the Embodiment of the Marauder set. You will need five pieces of it for the full effect (if you Cube the Royal Ring of Grandeur). The Bombardier’s Rucksack is another essential piece, as it will give you two extra Sentries. Yang’s Recurve and Dead Man’s Legacy will enhance your Multishot. Focus and Restraint, as well as the Squirt’s Necklace will increase your damage. The Captain Crimson’s Trimmings set will increase both damage and survivability. Wraps of Clarity and Zoey’s Secret will both boost your survivability.
Enforcer, Bane of the Trapped, and Zei’s Stone of Vengeance are generally the best Legendary Gems.
