An easy to use and tanky build that specializes in high AoE damage.
Skills
This build mainly revolves around using Death Nova to take out large groups of enemies. The Blood Nova Rune will allow it to get the damage boost from the Trag’Oul’s Avatar set, while Siphon Blood and Blood Rush will gain every Rune effect from the same set.
Besides these Skills, other core Skills are:
- Simulacrum – will greatly increase the amount of Death Novas cast.
- Frailty – kills off all enemies near the Necromancer at low health.
- Bone Armor – gives some damage reduction.
Passives
- Stand Alone – grants extra mitigation.
- Swift Harvesting – increases the Attack Speed of Siphon Blood.
- Spreading Malediction – gives an overall boost in damage.
- Final Service – grants a safety net from dying.
Equipment
The primary armor for this build is the Trag’Oul’s Avatar set. You will need five pieces of it for the full effect (if you Cube the Royal Ring of Grandeur). Iron Rose will allow Death Nova to be activated by using Blood Siphon, and Funerary Pick and Bloodtide Blade will enhance these Skills. Haunted Visions will cause your Simulacrum to last forever, and Convention of Elements will give an overall damage boost. Dayntee’s Binding and Krysbin’s Sentence help with damage mitigation. The Aughild’s Authority set and Mantle of Channeling will boost both damage and mitigation.
Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Stricken, and Zei’s Stone of Vengeance are generally the best Legendary Gems for this build, all boosting your damage.
