A build that uses great magical power to deal large AoE damage.
Skill
This build mainly involves casting Meteor in various ways. To fully gain the benefits of the Tal Rasha’s Elements set, you will need an Arcane, Cold, Fire, and Lightning Skill (one of these can be Meteor itself).
Besides Meteor, the other core Skills of this build are:
- Familiar – grants extra damage. Will also count as your Fire Skill with the Sparkflint Rune.
- Storm Armor – will give some damage reduction. Will also count as your Lightning Skill.
- Teleport – used for extra mobility.
- Black Hole – gathers enemies together, while also giving a boost to mitigation and damage with the Spellsteal Rune. Will also count as your Arcane Skill.
- Spectral Blade – can be used to activate Arcane Dynamo, and be used as your Cold Skill.
- Magic Weapon – can be used for either extra damage reduction or Arcane Power generation depending on the Rune.
Passives
- Galvanizing Ward – will grant an extra shield when not taking damage.
- Elemental Exposure – gives a boost to damage, and synergises well with the Tal Rasha’s Elements set.
- Arcane Dynamo and Audacity can be used to give an extra boost to damage.
- Blur – can be used for extra damage mitigation.
Equipment
The primary armor will be the Tal Rasha’s Elements set. You will need five pieces of it for the full effect (if you Cube the Royal Ring of Grandeur). The Grand Vizier, The Smoldering Core, Nilfur’s Boast, and Mempo of Twilight all enhance Meteor. Halo of Karini will give more survivability, while Squirt’s Necklace and Convention of Elements will increase damage. The Aughild’s Authority set will boost both damage and mitigation.
Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Stricken, and Zei’s Stone of Vengeance are generally the best Legendary Gems for this build, all boosting your damage.
